# Tailor my résumé to a job post

## Inputs
The current résumé (text) and the full job posting (text).

## Steps
1. Pull the posting's top **6–8 requirements**, in its own words. Mark each as must-have or preferred.
2. Build a **match table**: requirement → the exact résumé evidence → Strong / Partial / Gap.
3. Rewrite up to 6 bullets so they lead with the posting's language. **Use only facts already in the résumé.** You may rephrase and reorder. Never add tools, numbers, titles, or results that aren't there.
4. Where a bullet has no number, suggest a `[add metric?]` placeholder rather than inventing one.
5. Write a 2-line summary aimed at the role.
6. **Source-line audit (required).** For every rewritten bullet *and* the summary, make a table: each new phrase → the résumé line it comes from. Delete or bracket any phrase with no source line, including soft-skill adjectives ("organized", "calm", "excellent"). Keep the résumé's own grammatical number and scope ("the system" stays singular). Express durations as written in the résumé ("since 2022"), not as computed totals.
7. List the **gaps** honestly, with a suggestion for each: address it in a cover letter, take a short course, or leave it off.
8. List the keywords from the posting that still don't appear anywhere.

## Output format
Match table → rewritten bullets (old → new) → summary → source-line audit → gaps → missing keywords.

## Guardrails
- **Zero fabrication.** If you're unsure whether something is in the résumé, it isn't.
- Don't add personal details (age, photo, marital status).
- The user reviews and sends. Don't apply on their behalf.
